One extended cruise circling the Land Down Under is being halted days after the tragic passing of an senior female passenger who was abandoned by the vessel on a remote tropical isle.

Suzanne Rees had been trekking on Lizard Island with fellow passengers from the cruise ship, but parted ways from the excursion for a rest. The vessel left without her and returned after some time after the ship staff became aware the passenger was unaccounted for.
